The National Mirror which is a daily newspaper published in Nigeria, was founded by Prince Emeka Obasi in 2006.
There were three editions of the
newspaper: Daily Mirror,
Saturday Mirror and
Sunday Mirror. In August 2008,
billionaire lawyer and business
man, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim
acquired 100 percent of the
paper. After aquisition, Jimoh's
goal was to refocus the paper,
giving it a proper direction and
thereby turning it into a world-class newspaper in the country.
In order to achieve this, he
eomplyed some of the best hands
in the industry. The newspaper
strives to "work for, fight for
and deliver justice" while
protecting the readers, staffs
and shareholders. The National Mirror is among the few Nigerian newspapers printed via a decentralized printing system.
